Remote Imagination Vessels
Speculating on mega-scale landscapes through procedural design
This independent studio focused on generating spatial paradigms for remote and climate-sensitive sites through procedural modeling and iterative exploration. Using Rhino and Grasshopper, I produced dozens of rapid 3D-printed artifacts that tested structural, material, and environmental logics at a mega-scale. Research into site-specific conditions—geography, climate, and ecology—was layered with speculative programmatic injections to push the boundaries of spatial imagination.
Final outcomes included composite drawings, 3D prints, scaled models, and animated visualizations that merged precision with experimentation. These artifacts emphasized how design can engage extreme or distant landscapes not only as abstract sites of projection but also as testing grounds for cultural, environmental, and formal inquiry. The project highlighted the potential of procedural workflows to produce speculative yet contextually informed visions of landscape and architecture.
